Purpose:

Graffiti is generally thought of as a deviant, underground movement that destroys and ruins public and private property. Within this website, I would like to take a look at graffiti and bring to light some sociological issues dealing with graffiti. I went all over the city of Atlanta photographing different examples of graffiti. I tried to get a wide variety of pieces, tags, and bombs (this vocabulary is explained on the page entitled Terms) and discuss them.
